Are you interested in writing for online magazines, blogs, and e-zines? Then this article is a must read for you. The search will turn up hundreds or thousands of results, go through the search results and select online magazines and publications that catches your interest. Visit the websites of these online publications and then study their writing guidelines and styles/ tone, taking special note of the type of articles that are selected and accepted for publication.

Step 3: send a request/query letter to the editor of the online publication: after you are through researching the online publications available in a particular niche, then send a query letter or finished article to the editor of the publication following the stated guidelines found in their website. Some guidelines would ask you to send a query letter (a letter stating what you intend to write and how you intend to write it) while others will ask you to send in your complete article for consideration.

If your article is accepted and published, you will be paid by the online magazine. To make a consistent income writing for online publications, you should consistently and constantly send in your articles or query letters to different publications in your chosen niche and target market. Chances are that you will eventually catch the attention of an editor who will give you constant job and assignments to write about if you are good.
